Rachel's 30th birthday party will take place from 7pm to midnight, poolside at The Pearl (1410 Rosecrans), a funky and hip boutique hotel in San Diego's Point Loma neighborhood.
The cocktails will be flowing, of course, and until 9pm the beer, wine, and dirty martinis (Rachel's favorite) are on us. We'll also have a spread of heavy appetizers and cupcakes, so don't eat too much before you come!
Party guests are welcomed and encouraged to book a room at The Pearl, both because it's a much better idea than drinking and driving (and we really want everyone to drink up and enjoy the party!), and because we're planning to stay there as well and would love to keep the party going well into the night with all of you! We have a block of rooms already set aside for Rachel's birthday weekend at the special rate of $99 per night. To book your room, simply contact the hotel at 619.226.6100 and mention that you're part of our group.
Finally, please note that the party will be outside. There are substantial heaters throughout the pool area, but if it ends up being a chilly evening, you may want to bring a jacket or wrap. Otherwise, cocktail or party attire is perfect.
